Maribel was born together with her brothers in Virginia However, details of their childhood are not available, was raised by parents and grandparents. At a young age she wanted to work in the field of law, wanting to become a lawyer. However, after graduating from high school she decided to attend the University of Virginia. There she pursued a degree of foreign Policy, with a Minor in German. The University of Virginia is among America's most prestigious universities, and has a history dating as far back as 1819, the year that Thomas Jefferson founded it. Jefferson was among the Declaration of Independence authors. The university now has over hundred programs centered on Jefferson's Academical Village - a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The school is situated on approximately 1600 acres in its central university, and thousands additional acres for its research parks and its farm. Maribel studied for her Juris Doctor at New York Law School following the conclusion of her Bachelor's Degree.
