Andra Day and Andi Matichak

Cassandra Monique Batie aka Andra Day, is an American R&B/Soul singer-songwriter. Her accolades include the Grammy Award as well as an Children's and Family Emmy Award and Golden Globe Award. She was also nominated to win the Academy Award. Andra is not only an old school R&B performer, but her gospel jazz roots and blues is presented in a manner that is both effortless and elegant. With her debut, Cheers to The Fall (2015) she broke in to the Top Ten R&B/hip hop charts as well as securing a few Grammy nods. In 2017 her performance on Marshall's music was recognized with the Academy Award. Andra has been born Cassandra Monique Batie on Edmonds Washington. After growing up in San Diego and surrounding areas, she began performing in the church and was enrolled into the School of Creative and Performing Arts. She shifted her focus from contemporary R&B to pop following her graduation, but eventually was attracted back to the soul and jazz singers she listened to in her youth. Kai Millard Morris recorded a performance of Day which she later shared with her husband Stevie Wonder some of Day's material. Motown legendary Adrian Gurvitz then introduced Day to music industry veteran Adrian Gurvitz. Day's fan base on YouTube grew fast after she formed a team along with Gurvitz, Jeffrey Evans and Buskin. The trio ultimately reached a deal with a major record label in partnership with Warner Bros. This song was immediately taken up and played in radio stations by a variety of DJs. She then joined Warner Bros. Records. Adrian Gurvitz produced her first album called Cheers for the Fall. The album included the single Rise Up that became an song for the social justice movement all over the world. Day received two Grammy nominations for the album which included Best R&B Album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday was her second album which was released in 2019. It was a conceptual record about the life of Billie Holiday. In the same year, she appeared in a biopic about Holiday's life, The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andi Mattichak, a native of the United States is an American actor. She first appeared in the film Halloween in the role of Allyson After appearing on numerous television shows like Orange Is the New Black (Orange is the new black), Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue) and Blue Bloods and Orange is the New Black. Andi matichak is a American actress born on 03 May 1994 Framingham in Massachusetts.
